Asha Kiran is a Shelter home for street children from the slum areas of Dongri in South Mumbai. The centre ensures care and protection to the children by providing a support system in health and nutrition, education, emotional wellbeing and security from street crimes. Asha Kiran welcomes any child from the street, free of cost. They have a capacity for about 100 day students. The centre is managed by the Maharashtra State Women’s Council.
