Rocket Learning is a high growth ed-tech non-profit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood education and community engagement in India. It links the government school system with parents and communities, using technology, media and social influence techniques. Rocket Learning is partnering at scale with state governments and IAS officers in Maharashtra, Haryana, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Delhi and UP to impact 800,000+ children in 50,000+ schools and anganwadis. The average child in a Rocket Learning cohort attains skills at the top 30 percent of a non-RL class, and the model is the subject of an ongoing RCT by MIT-JPAL.

Established by an experienced founding group and Board, Rocket Learning is anchored by Central Square Foundation, and partners/funded by India’s Ministry of Education, MIT-JPAL, MIT Solve, Harvard University, Fast Forward, Microsoft, World Economic Forum – Deloitte, Accel Partners, Amazon and HP. Please see a 2 minute illustrative video about Rocket Learning and an example of a Rocket Learning whatsapp community here.

MFE was one of Rocket Learning’s early funders and supported the launch of the Program in Aurangabad. We continue to support their work in early childhood education and the FLN Mission.
